Strong fundamentals are important for long-term development of any company.

Since 2009, Interenergo has been part of the Austrian Kelag Group, which is considered one of the leading renewable energy providers in Central Europe. In addition, it bundles the competences in hydroelectric power supply within the international RWE Group.

By following the trends of the future, the Kelag Group is adding solutions to its business model in the area of digitalisation, electromobility and smart technologies.

Compliance

We consider compliance as respecting both internal and external standards. Our excellence has been certified several times.

The Compliance Management System (CMS) of Kelag and its subsidiaries has been certified since 2014 in accordance with the ONR 192050 standard as well as with the ISO 19600 (Fair Business Compliance Certificate, Austrian Standards) since 2016.

The certified CMS comprises the following compliance-related risk areas: anti-bribery law, data protection law, antitrust law, law on unfair competition, and public procurement law. The certificate confirms that the certified party does perform an effective compliance management system which includes the given risk areas in terms of compliance and meets the requirements of the relevant document. Annual audits are performed by Austrian Standards plus GmbH.
